At Olive Young, start with one missing routine item and a small gift list. Compare the contents of a promotion before adding a bigger box to your basket.
What is worth comparing?
Small gifts: sheet-mask counts and lip-tint shade/finish. Routine replacements: sunscreen texture, cleanser size and refill contents. Bulkier buys: toner-pad jars and hair products—check weight and leakage risk before buying multiples.
For serums or ampoules, choose one purposeful addition rather than several overlapping bottles. Read ingredients and directions. A quick tester swatch does not establish how skincare will work for you over time.
Check the price you can actually pay
Some promotions need membership, an app coupon or a specific payment method. Ask the cashier to confirm your final price. The Global best-seller page helps identify names, but does not show live stock or domestic prices at your Korean branch.
Tax-refund limits worth knowing
KTO lists a minimum qualifying receipt of KRW 15,000. Immediate-refund purchases at participating stores must be below KRW 1,000,000 per payment, within the published KRW 5,000,000 trip limit. Eligibility and export conditions also apply.
Ask whether the refund is immediate or requires another step, and keep both the receipt and refund paperwork. Read the official eligibility and departure procedure before a large purchase.
Pack once, buy once
Check your airline and departure airport’s liquid and baggage rules. Seal leak-prone bottles, protect pump tops and photograph the exact shade or variant. Similar packaging can hide a different formula.
